Meeting Description:

This workshop investigates subjectivity and intersubjectivity as key notions to interpret and explain different kinds of linguistic phenomena and strategies, with a special focus on their encoding, function and applicability in the pragmatic domain.
The workshop encourages submissions starting from different current definitions of subjectivity and intersubjectivity, investigating data from both modern and ancient languages, synchronic and diachronic perspective, providing qualitative and quantitative analyses, examining different text types and discourse genres.

Call for Papers:

We invite submissions for oral presentations (20 minutes plus 10 minutes for discussion) dealing with any aspects related to the topic of the workshop. Abstracts should be at most 2 pages long (including examples and references) and should be submitted in both PDF and Word format by sending them to the organizing Committee: Maria Napoli (maria.napoliuniupo.it) and Miriam Ravetto (miriam.ravetto(at)uniupo.it).

Submissions should be anonymous. Please, include contact details (name, affiliation and email address) and the title of the submission in the body of the email. The languages of the workshop are Italian, English and German.
Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by two members of the Scientific Committee.

Selected contributions will be considered for publication.
