Thème : Participants will explore language evolution through a combination of theoretical courses, computational workshops, and master classes led by international experts. The summer school also features a dedicated workshop and poster session on the latest research in diachronic and computational linguistics. Up to 6 ECTS credits are available for successful participants. The summer school covers a broad range of linguistic fields, including theoretical linguistics, diachronic linguistics, computational linguistics, historical syntax, and morphology. It provides a unique opportunity for intellectual exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scholarly innovation in a stimulating academic environment.

Coût d’inscription : 175 euros (avant le 31 mars 2026) / 225 euros (jusqu’au 10 juin 2026). Three full scholarships, covering registration fees, will be awarded to outstanding applicants. The 11th Naxos Summer School on Diachronic Linguistics, subtitled Theoretical and Computational Approaches to Diachronic Linguistics, will be held from 19–24 July 2026 on the island of Naxos, Greece, bridging classic theoretical syntax with innovative computational technology in a truly interdisciplinary framework. The summer school is organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in collaboration with Arizona State University, University of Osnabrück, University of Cambridge, and the CIVIS Course “Diachronic Linguistics in the 21st Century”.

This intensive program is designed for BA, MA, and PhD candidates passionate about exploring the complexities of language change through cutting-edge theoretical frameworks and computational tools.
