The Romance Linguistics Seminar (RLS) first met in January 1973 and has been meeting annually ever since at Trinity Hall, Cambridge (UK). Founded by Joe Cremona and his pupils, its nucleus is still formed by Romance Linguists working in the United Kingdom, though visitors from overseas are also welcomed.
The emphasis is on informality and a friendly and constructive atmosphere in which views can be expressed and exchanged.
Papers (20 mins plus 10 mins for discussion) may be on any aspect of Romance linguistics, within any theoretical framework, and in any standard Romance language, or in English. In the event of more papers being offered than there are slots available, our general policy is that the same person will not normally present a paper in two successive RLS meetings and that preference will be given to first-time presenters.
Please send a title together with an abstract of no more than 300 words to: RomLingSemCambridge@gmail.com.
