Finnish Journal of Linguistics (Jrnl)
Finnish Journal of Linguistics is the annual publication of the Linguistic Association of Finland. The journal welcomes linguistic research from all theoretical and methodological persuasions. The submissions have to be unpublished original and high-quality work. Every manuscript is reviewed by at least two anonymous referees. In addition to research papers on any linguistic topic, FJL publishes short squibs and book reviews. The languages of publication are English, French, German, Finnish and Swedish. FJL appears as an open access publication on the journal’s website.
The deadline for initial submissions for the next volume (number 38, to appear by the end of 2025) is January 31, 2025. The deadline is strict and non-negotiable. Submissions arriving after the deadline will be postponed to next year. The deadline for book reviews is March 31, 2025.
