Le colloque de clôture du projet ANR BasNum : Numérisation et analyse du Dictionnaire universel de Basnage de Beauval : lexicographie et réseaux scientifiques aura lieu à Grenoble le 25 mai 2023.
Intitulé « Le monde de Basnage et son dictionnaire universel », le colloque réunit des chercheurs en histoire de la lexicographie et en histoire spécialisés surtout dans l’époque de la création de l’ouvrage, mais qui donneront également un aperçu de l’emploi des dictionnaires du français par le lexicographe anglais Johnson.
La participation est possible sur place ou par lien Zoom. L’inscription est gratuite mais obligatoire avant le 20 mai.

Closing conference for project BasNum
The French nationally funded project BasNum: Digitization and analysis of the Dictionnaire universel by Basnage de Beauval: lexicography and scientific networks (BASNUM)will close with a conference in Grenoble, France, on 25th May 2023. The event “The world of Basnage and his Dictionnaire universel” will bring together specialists in the history of lexicography and history dealing essentially with the period of the creation of the work, the end of the 17th century, but with a peep forward to how Johnson made use of French dictionaries in compiling is dictionary.
Participation is possible either on-site or by zoom, but registration before the 20th May is compulsory. The conference will be essentially in French.
